As part of our re-brand work (check out the case study here) and ongoing marketing support for our client Brancaster House Financial Planning, we encouraged them to exhibit for the first time to a business audience.
The Norfolk Chambers of Commerce was offering event space for Chamber members in its Business Hub at the Royal Norfolk Show 2024 and, as new Chamber members, it was an absolute no-brainer that the Brancaster team were there!
Objectives for the event:
Showcase the new brand and 'financial advice for all' message to the Norfolk business audience for the first time
Engage with potential new clients and generate leads
Catch up with existing clients, suppliers and business friends
What we did to support Brancaster House Financial Planning...
Print marketing & design
two new pull up banners with CIM Signs & Graphics
flyers
brochure and folder
posters with QR codes
Giveaways
What is an event without a giveaway to get your brand over the threshold of someone's home or office? As well as the print above, we also helped create:
Norfolk prize hamper: to encourage people to sign up for a free financial health check, we helped source local items from Jarrolds and Biddy's Tea Room and ran social posts
pens, trolley keys, water bottles, sweets
eco print, including recycled notepads with Dynamic Print
Photography and videography
our photography partner Paul Macro was on-hand the capture the Brancaster team in action, supplying us with content for web, blog posts, social posts, email marketing collateral and more
we captured Brancaster's experience of being at The Royal Norfolk Show in our business roundup on Nurture Business:
Social media
We created a series of social posts in the run up to the event, during the events and after the event to maximise and extend the exposure that event marketing can bring
Results:
30 new business leads obtained in the form of a 'free financial health check' offering
interaction with 3,000 people who walked through the business hub doors over the two days of the Royal Norfolk Show
networking opportunities with over 40 other Norfolk business exhibitors
3,000 impressions (or as we call them pairs of eyeballs') and 400 interactions (likes, comments, share) across 'exhibition' social posts
What the client said:
"It was great to have Matilda and Amy's support to get us ready and organise materials and where to go to get this done, a lot of which can be used at future events.
As for exhibiting, it gave us the opportunity to get our brand out there even further and to speak with other local businesses, some of which we’re hoping will turn into working partnerships. It’s something we’ve never done before and will definitely do again, with the next being the B2B event through Norfolk Chambers."
