Our MD Rechenda was asked to share her business journey and the marketing tactics that helped her get there at a special event for East Anglia's up-and-coming entrepreneurs recently at the University of East Anglia (UEA).
She was joined by MENTA, FSB East Anglia and NatWest.
The Help to Grow management course is a government-backed initiative that acts as a mini-MBA. Delivered by the UEA Business School for managers and leaders of small and medium sized businesses, the course provides learners with skills to boost profits, improve business performance, resilience, and long-term growth. The programme is accredited by the Small Business Charter, with funding support from HM Government.
The curriculum covers:
leadership
innovation
digital adoption
employee engagement
marketing
responsible business
financial management
Course attendees have to have five employees, but receive one-to-one support from a business mentor, and by the end of the course they will have developed a tailored growth action plan to help release the full potential of their organisations.
The 12-week programme is 90% funded, meaning the fee payable by participants is £750. Help to Grow: Management has been designed to fit alongside full-time work commitments and will be delivered with a mix of virtual and face-to-face classes.
