Rechenda Smith is the Managing Director of Norwich-based Nurture Marketing.
As a full-service agency, Rechenda and her team of leopards provide marketing strategy and services including PR, email marketing, web, branding, design and print, blogging, SEO, advertising photography and videography from their lair at the Blofield Business Centre.
The team also provides bespoke and group marketing training courses. Nurture Marketing supports clients in Norfolk, Suffolk and North Essex in sectors including professional services, the visitor economy, property & construction and not-for-profit.
Rechenda started her business in June 2022 from her shed in Norwich with £5k in savings and rapidly expanded. In its first year the company turned over £77k and made £25k profit. Rechenda put the profits straight back into the business to employ staff and secure an office. This year, the business is on track for a £220k turnover and employs a team of four.
Rechenda has been working in marketing for twenty years. She holds marketing qualifications from the Chartered Institute of Marketing and the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and is a volunteer area lead for the Federation of Small Businesses in Norfolk and Suffolk. She is also an advocate for local charities and offers pro bono support via Norfolk Pro Help.
Rechenda is self-confessed leopard print obsessive, an enthusiastic lover of upcycling, cats, 70s disco and coffee.
