Tails were wagging at the first Dog Show hosted by local charity, The Feed at its Waterloo Park venue. Nurture Marketing were one of the sponsors at the event, lending our name to the class: Dog Most Like Its Owner.
Nurture Marketing’s founder Recehnda Smith joined the panel to take part in the judging of all categories, while Jarrold Training’s Elliot Symonds compered at the fun and lively community event.
Hundreds of owners turned out with their pooches to enjoy the bank holiday sunshine while a large crowd of spectators gathered in the beautiful setting to watch the parade of pups.
The Best Biscuit Catcher category entertained the audiences with a live contest where compere Elliot threw biscuits to challenge the participants.
The categories and winners were:
Waggiest Tail – Roxie
Dog Most Like Its Owner – Basil
Golden Oldie (dogs 7 years and older) – Lily
Precious Pup (dogs up to 1 year old) – Bear
Furry Friend (dogs 1-6 years old) – Basil
Best Biscuit Catcher – Otis
Best in Show – Lily
Nurture Marketing’s charity of the year
With charitable causes and corporate social responsibility being incredibly important to Nurture Marketing, each year we support a nominated charity. For the past year, our charity has been The Feed, and its Dog Show rounds off a fabulous year of collaboration with them. As well as sponsoring the show, over the course of the year, Nurture has gifted new white goods for its social supermarket, hosted an event – The Leopard Print Lunch at the Waterloo Park venue, raising £800 for The Feed. We also designed a Christmas Hamper website for them pro bono, hosted a LinkedIn seminar at its venue and did as much as we could to help raise the charity’s profile to our business network.
Nurture Marketing will always support The Feed as the charity is very close to our heart, but in June we will be expanding to a new non-profit for 2023-2024.
